Notice of AGM

As already posted on the Club’s website, the AGM will take place this year on Weds, 5 Sept at 7pm at the OAs Clubhouse.

All members are very much encouraged to attend – as you can see from the Agenda below, there is a lot of good stuff going on behind the scenes at the Club and this is a chance to hear all about it and put forward your views in an open forum.

Agenda

1. To receive from the committee a report of the activities of the Club since the previous AGM.
2. To receive from the committee the Club's accounts and the Honorary Treasurer's report as to the financial position of the Club – the Club’s accounts will be circulated in due course before the AGM.
3. To vote in and announce the election of the Club’s committee (the members of which equally serve as the Club’s company directors), i.e. Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and the Elected Directors to be appointed for the 2018-19 season – please see below for the nominations for these positions.
4. To announce this season’s OAs Senior management and skippers, and Youth coaches – please see below for confirmation of these positions.
5. To announce the rates of annual subscriptions for the 2018-19 season – please see below (same as last season).
6. To confirm the appointment of certain new Honorary Life Vice Presidents, in recognition of outstanding contribution or long service to the Club.
7. Update on Club sponsorship activities.
8. Update on proposed “OAs 200 Supporters Club”.
9. Update on Club Manager role.
10. Update on lease renewal negotiation with DC / the Estate.
11. Update on grounds renovation progress.
12. To transact such other business as may be brought before the committee.
