We're delighted to annouce we have our first Old Allynian RFC Womens International! Congratulations to Fi McIntosh for being selected to the Scotland Women's team. Fi is a regular for Saracens Women, having started her rugby journey at Old Alleynians RFC.

It was announced today that Fi McIntosh has been included in the women’s Scotland squad that will travel to Cape Town for the new global competition, WXV 2. Fi played all her all her age-grade rugby at OAs with the help, support and dedication (in addition to others) of her mother (Helen) and father (Alistair).

Saracens’ McIntosh has played an integral part in the Premiership Women’s Rugby side since 2020, with the lock featuring in the 2021/22 Allianz Premier 15s final, helping her side lift the silverware in an emphatic 43-21 win against Exeter Chiefs. McIntosh qualifies to play for Scotland through her dad, Alistair, who is from Govan.
Head coach Bryan Easson said “It’s been brilliant to welcome Fiona McIntosh and Demi Swann into the squad, while also seeing Holly McIntyre earn her place in the final selection after making her way through the pathway system.
