On 26th December this year, Old Alleynians will host the traditional Boxing Day friendly vs Old Whitgiftians. This is one of the oldest fixtures in rugby, dating back to September 1898 when the club played its first match against Old Whitgiftians (Croydon FC as they were known at the time), in what was the start of an enduring Dulwich College vs Whitgift rivalry. The team is open to all seniors-qualified individuals who are either current/past OAs or ex-Dulwich College players.

The game is the perfect opportunity for recent school leavers and university players to get some game time in, and (whether spectator or player) to blow the cobwebs away from overly heated living rooms full of family. We look forward to hosting Whitgift and the continuation of this traditional fixture.
There is also some walking rugby going on before the game for those wishing to walk off their Christmas meals!
