On 26th December this year, Old Alleynians will host its traditional Boxing Day friendly vs Old Whitgiftians. This is one of the oldest fixtures in rugby, dating back to September 1898 when the club played its first match against Old Whitgitians (Croydon FC as they were known at the time), a long tradition of Dulwich College vs Whitgift school rivalry.
The team is open to all seniors-qualified individuals who are either current/past OAs or ex-Dulwich College players. The game is perfect for recent school leavers and uni players to get some game time in.
It’s the perfect opportunity, whether spectator or player, to blow the cobwebs away from overly heated living rooms full of family, and we always look to play some pretty high-octane rugby.
This year the fixture will be home, kicking off at 13:30, with a meet time of 12:00 for those players involved.
