A tough day in the office for the Women+1st XV. After weathering a difficult first half and going into the break just two points down at 5-7 thanks to a wonderful solo effort from Sab, the second half got away from us as the Ironsides back three got motoring. The bench made a great impact with Emily scoring under the posts but it was too little, too late with a full time score of 12-47.

Next Sunday both teams run out at home for their final fixtures of the season. The 1st XV are targeting a top 3 finish facing Hammersmith & Fulham who they narrowly lost to away in their first game of the season. The 2nd XV hope to finish a fantastic season on a high as they secure promotion to NC2 playing against Millwall. Both games are at home so get down and support!
