Old Alleynians RFC

We will be holding our next AGM at 8pm on Thursday 8th September 2022. This will be held at the Club and there will also be a link provided so that participants can join online. Nearer the time we will issue a form to register attendance and ask for any questions in advance.

Importantly, we have three positions on the committee that will become vacant. Two of these positions (Chairman and Honorary Secretary) will have to be ratified at the AGM in line with our constitution and we would welcome all applications.

I indicated my intention to stand down after a long period as Chairman and, whilst there has been some interest and discussions in this regard, we would welcome any other volunteers for the role. Tom Wooster (Hon. Sec) and Ian Goodhew (Age Grade) have also indicated their intention to step down from the committee this year. I would like to thank them both for their hard work and efforts in supporting the club and our members especially during the recent challenging years. Both have worked hard on some of the less glamorous tasks that running a rugby club of our size entails. I think that I speak for us all in saying that, whilst we have (largely) enjoyed our time, we think it is only right that fresh energy and ideas are brought to the Committee. We will still all be involved in the Club going forward.

The Committee represents the Old Alleynian Sports Club (OASC) Limited, whose purpose is to manage the Old Alleynians Rugby Football Club (OARFC), Dulwich Village Pre-School, the grounds, facilities and hosting of private events. The Committee is currently structured as below:
